How award funds may be used
This KZCF scholarship can be applied toward any item listed in your school’s Cost of Attendance (COA). COA components vary by institution but commonly include tuition, fees, room and board, transportation, food, health insurance, and similar education-related expenses. You can locate your school’s COA on its website or by contacting the financial aid office.
Payment process and renewal
Scholarship disbursements are sent directly to the recipient’s college or university. KZCF issues one check covering the full academic year and requests that the institution divide the funds equally between fall and spring semesters. If you prefer a different allocation, indicate that request on your acceptance form after you are awarded. This is a one-time scholarship and will not automatically renew in subsequent years. Award funds may be used together with other scholarships or financial aid, and no action is required from recipients once the payment has been processed.
