Award usage and limitations
- Legacy Awards ($4,000) can be used only at accredited colleges, universities, or schools in the United States. Applicants from Panama, Puerto Rico, and the Philippines may use the award at accredited institutions in their respective home countries.
- Students may submit applications for more than one ENF scholarship, but may receive only one national ENF award. If a student is selected for multiple ENF awards, the scholarship with the higher value will be granted. Separate local and state Elks scholarships may also be accepted in addition to a national award.

- If chosen as a 2026 Legacy Awards recipient, you must complete an act of service with an Elks Lodge at least three times during your college career to reinforce involvement with the #ElksFamily. Check the Elks National Foundation website or your Lodge for details on serving with the Elks.
