Army ROTC Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by US Army
The Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) offers scholarships and financial aid to assist with educational expenses. This allows you to concentrate on your studies and graduate with less debt, while preparing for a secure career as an Army Officer. High school students preparing for college, current college students, and active-duty enlisted Soldiers are all eligible for this support.
Financial assistance for living costs and textbooks.
- Benefit from monthly financial aid to help cover living and textbook expenses. All ROTC scholarships provide an additional $420 each month during the academic year for costs such as housing, plus an annual $1,200 for textbooks.
- Application is open to high school and college students.
- Upon completing your junior year of high school or while in college, you can apply for an Army ROTC scholarship at a participating institution.
ROTC scholarship commitments
Accepting an ROTC scholarship implies a future service commitment of eight years in the Army. This can be fulfilled through active duty and/or service in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard, depending on the scholarship. After graduation, you may be eligible to serve part-time in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard while pursuing a civilian career.
Those who wish to leave the ROTC program can do so after their first year of college without any obligations.
