Rusty Cohen Legacy Scholarship Fund
Scholarship Sponsored by Chicago Scholars
Overview
The Rusty Cohen Legacy Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Rusty Cohen, former leader of Magid Glove & Safety, who died in 2020. The Fund seeks to help close the gap in incoming safety professionals by supporting Chicago-area young adults who plan to pursue college degrees and careers in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
About Rusty Cohen
Rusty was known for his generosity, sharp mind, and sense of humor. He had a talent for listening closely, recalling personal details about others, and making daily life a bit kinder. Over a career spanning nearly 50 years, Rusty devoted himself to helping companies protect their workers and was a committed advocate for students striving to complete college.
