Empowering Women in Tech Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Designli
Designli is thrilled to offer a $3,000 scholarship to a U.S. female student at the high school, college, or graduate level who has a keen interest in technology and entrepreneurship. We acknowledge the significant contributions of the many exceptional female entrepreneurs we work with and the invaluable role women play within our own organization. However, we also recognize the underrepresentation of women in the tech industry and are committed to helping rectify this imbalance. We firmly believe that a diverse range of viewpoints fosters innovation, making the promotion of opportunities for women in tech an obvious choice for us.
We invite you to submit an essay of 1,000 words detailing your motivations and inspirations for pursuing a career in technology or entrepreneurship. Please also discuss the challenges, benefits, and opportunities for women in the tech industry.

Guidelines on the Use of AI for Scholarship Submissions
While AI-powered tools can be useful for research and outlining your scholarship submission, they should not be used as the main author of your work to ensure fairness and authenticity.
Transparency: If you use AI tools, please acknowledge the specific tools used in your submission. Clearly highlight the sections where AI was used (e.g., idea generation, outlining, etc.).
Fact-checking: AI may sometimes provide inaccurate or outdated information. You are responsible for meticulously fact-checking any information, including statistics, obtained from AI tools.
Originality and Creativity: Submissions that appear to be primarily or entirely written by AI will be disqualified. We value your unique insights, perspective, and writing style.
Your essay will be evaluated based on the following four criteria:
Originality - uniqueness of the work
Creativity - a mix of imagination and innovative ideas
Quality- excellent execution
Competency - well-composed and clear, engaging communication
Only original work will be accepted. Plagiarism is the antithesis of innovation, and any plagiarized work will be disqualified. This includes content created with AI tools like ChatGPT. Your story is unique and valuable, and we want to hear it. No one can tell a story better than the person who has lived it, so focus on telling your own story. If you reference someone else's work, please provide a citation.
