Overview
Advancing education and career pathways is central to strengthening Arizona’s nursery sector. The Arizona Nursery Association (ANA) and its Foundation prioritize professional development by offering learning opportunities such as the SHADE Conference, certification programs, and other industry-focused resources.
Scholarship program
Each year the ANA Foundation awards scholarships to deserving students pursuing horticulture-related studies.
Who is eligible
- Arizona residents (or those planning to establish Arizona residency) who are currently enrolled in, or intend to enroll in, a horticulture-related program at a university, community college, or through continuing education.
- Individuals who are currently employed in the nursery industry or who plan to pursue the nursery industry as a career.
- Applicants who demonstrate either above-average academic performance or at least two years of work experience in the nursery industry, and who show involvement in industry-related extracurricular activities.
Award details and timeline
Scholarship awards may be granted in amounts up to $6,000. Recipients are notified in May each year, and awarded funds are available beginning with the fall semester.
