Royal Business Bank Scholarship Program

Introduction
Royal Business Bank seeks to help local students pursue higher education by awarding five scholarships of $1,000 each to graduating high school seniors who will enroll as full-time, degree-seeking first-year college students in the Fall 2026 semester.

Who may apply
- High school seniors living in one of the following counties:
- New York: New York County, Kings County, Queens County, Richmond County
- New Jersey: Middlesex County
- California: Los Angeles County, Orange County, Ventura County
- Nevada: Clark County
- Illinois: Cook County
- Hawaii: Honolulu County (Oahu only)
- Intending to begin as a first-year student in Fall 2026 at a U.S.-accredited four-year college/university or a community college. (If selected, you must provide an official college acceptance letter for verification.)
- Minimum cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.0.
- Household income at or below the County Low Income Level. (If selected, a 2024 or 2025 tax return will be required for verification.)
- Open to applicants in any major; there is no ethnicity requirement.
- Employees of Royal Business Bank and their immediate family members are not eligible.

Award details
- Five scholarships, each worth $1,000.
- Funds are restricted to tuition costs at the attended institution, as defined by that college/university.

Application process and rules
- One common application covers all Royal Business Bank scholarship opportunities for which an applicant qualifies; complete it once to be considered for multiple awards.
- APPLICATIONS OPEN IN DECEMBER 2025.
- Application and recommender forms must be submitted online; hard-copy submissions will not be accepted.
- All required materials must be RECEIVED by the stated deadline. Any documents submitted after the deadline (by mail, email, fax, or otherwise) will not be considered, regardless of postmark.

Verification
If selected, awardees will be asked to provide documentation to confirm college admission and household income (college acceptance letter and 2024 or 2025 tax return, as applicable).
