Elmhurst Garden Club Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Elmhurst Garden Club
York Community High School — Summer 2026
Exploratory / Experiential Scholarship
Overview
The Elmhurst Garden Club offers a Summer 2026 Exploratory/Experiential Scholarship for York Community High School students who wish to pursue hands-on learning in plant- and land-related fields. The Club seeks to foster interest and study in areas such as agriculture, agronomy, botany, conservation, ecology, environmental studies, floriculture, forestry, horticulture, land management, landscape design, and sustainability. The intent of this scholarship is to support a practical summer experience — for example, a workshop, camp, internship, experiential program, or college course — that gives the student direct, applied exposure to one of these disciplines.
