Marc Whitehead & Associates Law Firm is proud to present the Frances & Earl Perry Memorial Veterans Scholarship as part of our commitment to supporting the nation’s veterans and their families.
About the scholarship
- This nationwide scholarship is intended to help U.S. veterans and the children of veterans pursue undergraduate education at accredited two- or four-year institutions.
- The award can be applied toward tuition, textbooks, and other education-related expenses at a qualifying college or university, in any undergraduate program the recipient chooses.
- Our goal is to assist returning service members in achieving their academic and career objectives and to provide opportunities for veterans’ children to access post-secondary education.
Who may apply
1. Children of U.S. veterans
- Must be an unmarried dependent under age 24.
- Must either have been accepted to a two- or four-year undergraduate program or be currently enrolled in college.
2. U.S. veterans
- Must hold U.S. veteran status and have served honorably.
- Must either have been accepted to a two- or four-year undergraduate program or be currently enrolled in college.
Required documentation
All application materials must be submitted by email only, using the Frances & Earl Perry Memorial Veterans Scholarship Submission Form located at the bottom of this page. The following documents are required for consideration:
- Proof of military service: veterans must submit their own documentation of service; children of veterans must submit a copy of their parent’s proof of service.
- Proof of legal U.S. residency (for example: driver’s license, birth certificate, passport).
- College acceptance letter or current college ID.
- Most recent transcript (high school or college).
- Note: If selected, recipients will be required to provide their upcoming fall class schedule verifying enrollment in 12 credit hours or more.
